Quality confirmed: recertification of ISO 9001:2000.
maxon motor ag and maxon motor GmbH, Sexau successfully regained certification in conformity with SN EN ISO 9001:2000.
maxon motor’s quality management system was certified in 1988 and reflects the company’s long standing views on quality. On 5 December 2006, maxon motor ag and its production subsidiary maxon motor GmbH, Sexau were audited again by BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International AG, Switzerland), and successfully recertified in accordance with SN EN ISO 9001:2000.
The independent auditors examined every type of process in the R&D, Production and Sales in Switzerland and Germany. They confirmed the quality management system is an integral part of maxon motor and that its management is fully committed to producing quality drive units.
maxon motor is continuously expanding its quality management system. Initial measures towards certification according to ISO 13485 Medical Device Standard are introduced: A guarantee to provide top quality and high precision drive products also in the future – under full consideration of environmental issues.
